Wow! The May Company! The only time I hear of the May Co. is on old Jack Benny radio shows!

I noticed that odd looking tube. I had also wondered whether or not it was being used. The TV audio is going thru the big amplifier, but sounds much better than the radio or pluggin a cd player. Next time I take the back off, I am going to pull that tube and see what happens.

There's a NOS 24AHP4 on epay now, just in case you want to put the Maggie back in regular service, never hurts to have a spare......

Wow Charlie, that's a beauty!
Good to see someone saving these big sets.
I just posted a link to a couple more in the rectangular forum if you need a couple more :D

Thanks... I really like this set as it's quite nice looking. But my God... their sooo big! I'm having to make some major adjustments around here to make room for it!

A couple more? Oh no! I'd end up having to saw the legs off and start stacking them! The only reason I took this beast was because it was from my neighbor, and I knew that it had been well cared for.

With all that nice solid wood it probably weighs only a little less then the tree they made it out of! Nice set, neat sliding doors...Frenchy
