Someone mentioned a picture. I don't see any and I am very interested in these sets. I have owned one for over 30 years. It worked when bought, and works as well today unrestored. I did replace the c.r.t. a few years back and replaced one paper cap that was causing a little vertical size shrinkage. I can't even remember the last time a tube needed replacing. It's a 330 table top model and I consider it to be absolutely amazingly engineered for reliability and simplicity. The chassis is super easy to remove and very simply put together.

Since the analog signals went away and I have to use converters, I have had a bit of trouble as mentioned in this thread with tuning for good sound and picture together with no interference. There was no trouble at all before, but now I have a certain way that I connect the balun with the built in antenna I think connected to one leg. When I get that right I get as sharp a picture and sound as ever although it is still a very fine tuning to get it.

Either way, I'm a very happy owner! Good luck with this set and I hope to see others.

This thread was from 2005, I don't have that set anymore. The only Philco TV I have now is a Seventeener III. I looked for pictures of this 21" Philco, all I could find on this computer was this one from the back of the set.
