Harry Poster and the Chamber of Vacuum?

ohohyodafarted 06-02-2011 08:22 PM

Even though the filiments have continuity, I would not count on that crt having a good vacuum. It is possible, but I would guess the odds are very slim at best.

Someone needs to hit that crt neck with a high voltage tesla coil to see if there is a purple glow. That is the best test to see if it is holding vacuum.

I take it you're not interested, Bob?

Realistically speaking, how many 'good' 15GP22 kine's are left out there in the wild? I'm guessing not many at all (!)

the rest is in great shape though & well worth the cash.
