I like that one beautiful cabinet I would be all over that if I was there. :thmbsp:

sampson159 06-06-2011 03:21 PM

i have that same cabinet with a zenith metal cabinet set in it.now i know where it came!

magnasonic66 06-06-2011 06:23 PM

I think my "new" empty cabinet is a Sylvania, it's a beautiful cabinet on this one.

radiotvnut 06-06-2011 10:17 PM

I have the metal cabinet table model version of that set.

Sure wish I could get that only a few thousand miles :tears: here is a ad for it.

I'm amazed that there are any native tube color sets in Florida! Back when I lived there I searched as good as I could (considering I did not understand that the internet was a viable aid in my search at the time) and found nothing.

I was about to say it was early enough to use an RCA crt (judging by the style of cataract) but the ad says they were making their own by then....of course, it could be a replacement.

I like the cabinet on this one. I've got a Sylvania roundie, but mines in kind of a beat up Early American cabinet. Mine had a new flyback and a Sylvania rebuild picture tube put in in 84. If anyone wants to make the drive to Omaha, I'd part with it, but you'd have to leave with the 67 Maggie as well! lol!

joemama99 06-09-2011 08:56 PM

I'm going to try for it...

DaveWM 06-10-2011 08:48 AM

I live in Winter Park, only ten minutes away, I got to the sale 15 minutes after
it opened and it was already gone.

This is the television receiver to be found in fanciful palace of the ruling class!!!!

The riches of opulence abound in Florida !

I would show my manliness to such a television receiver to my most desirable wife!!!!

joemama99 06-11-2011 09:18 AM

Dave did you get it?

DaveWM 06-11-2011 07:54 PM

I got it, looks good but the CRT may have issues, no other test done, I have real work to do so it will be a few weeks before I dig into very much.

orthophonic 06-11-2011 08:04 PM

Well I am glad someone here got it and it was not fishtanked!

joemama99 06-12-2011 10:45 PM

Thats exactly what I thought-Someone would see that and turn it into a bar or something.Glad you got it.
