A bit late to save it, in MHO(8" Zenith porthole)

Take a look at this. A Zenith porthole tv, and they have a plastic sheet over the face of the tube to protect it. BUT-- They were a bit too late--as the telltale "black spot" is clearly visible in the center of the screen, indicating the neck is probably broken!! A shame, too!!

Wow 9123 negative feedbacks in the last year!! and just as many neutrals!!!! How does this guy stay in business?! Even the people that lesft positives didnt seem that pleased..

Something is very odd about some of his positive feedback. Too many from the same buyer on different type of items. Sellers like that give e-bay a bad name. Just think there are buyers that didn't even post neg-feedback they just let it go and may never buy from an e-bay seller again. Myself I stay far away from anybody with more then a few negs sometimes a seller gets a impossible buyer but it's easy to tell those. A power seller could have more then a few negs but the good ones will work with buyers to try and get positives etc...

Sounds like a big operation with a bunch of underpaid employees who don't care...

Why does this TV remind me of the Monty Python "Dead Parrot" sketch-"That parrot wouldn't go "Voom" if you run a million volts thru it. It's dead, it has ceased to be..."

wiseguy 07-04-2006 09:50 AM

also looks like the chassis is missing..no shafts stick out in front..

If it's Mayflower the crt is mounted to the chaiss not the cabinet. The Mayflower has a 10" tube.

That CRT face looks a bit like a giant eyeball, the black spot the pupil and iris. :D Maybe it only works on the CBS network? :D :D

If you were to have bought it then would we know where the true 8" porthole is? :D
