Down With Love
 

Anyone seen this? Stars Renee Zellweger and Ewan McGregor. It's almost a remake of "Pillow Talk" with Doris and Rock.
Even if you don't care for the cast (I find Renee irritating), it's a good movie to watch for the old TV sets!
Among others, I saw a Motorola (I think) with weird A-frame legs and a barberpole Predicta. Interesting thing about the Predicta--shows Ewan McGregor using a remote control. Did Philco ever make a remote Predicta, or were the movie producers just taking license?

The Predicta used in that movie was one of the new replicas. It was also a color set!

I like Renee but she was badly miscast I thought.
She doesn't have that combination of sophistication and innocence that Doris Day had.
