The ad does not say NOS. Why would one assume an NOS Sylvania 7JP4 would be in a IEC 5UP1 scope tube box?

Considering that the gettering is almost a non-existent brown, I'd say it is a very, very used tube.

It may not be NOS, and it may look very, very used, but it puts out a fine looking picture. Really makes my old VT-71 look like new. Pretty good buy at $43.

It is a good buy. Your luck is better that my own. That's why I don't go to Las Vegas.
