Grundig Satellit 2000 repair question

Trying to repair my Grundig Satellit 2000 which I greatly enjoy. Have a found problem in the audio ampflier section. A Zener diode has failed. The parts list identifies the diode as a ZV1. Searching on this part number in Google and in cross references for semiconductors, I have not been able to find any info or substitutes. Some cross references say that at least 4 characters of ID is needed.

Can anyone provide help for identifying this zener diode or advising which part I should replace it with??????????

I have Grundig 500 that needs some work and spent some time looking for a place to have it repaired. I found out that apparently Grundig doesn't have factory service centers in the US anymore. My search did lead me to:

ACT ELECTRONICS, 429 Ash St., Henderson, NV 89015.

It's a place that specializes in Grundig repair. Perhaps they would have the part you need. Good luck.

Here's a link to their website: Act Electronics

Terry,

Thanks for the lead. I have emailed them to ask if they can tell me a proper substitute part since the OEM part (ZV1) is obsolete.
