Photo Finish: Where can I learn how to do professionally?

I am really curious about this 'cheap' type of finish. I had never heard of it before I started stripping my Philco 41-280. I was sent to one link, but it is not very clear or detailed.

Certainly there must be some places where I can go in order to learn about how this was done, and how to repeat the proceedure. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm seriously considering just covering the vertical sections with real veneer. I have several hundred pounds of veneer lying around, of all kinds, and I really need to use some of it. I just can't come up with what i would like to use.

But to veneer those two vertical sections, I would most probably need to use Titebond II and iron on the veneer, there are just too many curves and corners to adhere.

Thanks for the links. I'll check them out now. :thmbsp:

Oh, here's the project i am talking about, in case you missed it.
