Nice story about a young baseball Mets fan and his transistor
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/24007874
He mentioned "tubes" in the radio, but I'm sure he was referring to the little can shaped transistors in the radio. :D |
He could have even been refering to the capacitors.
What book cover is you're Avatar from. I've got it somewhere and I ran across it reciently, but I cannot bring the name back. |
My avatar is from an old sci-fi magazine cover. Been a long time since I scanned it, think it was "Nebula" Magazine.

What a neat story!!!

Thanks for the link to that. I think most of us could relate to his experiences. It brings back a more innocent time, and growing up with the radio.
