Anyone with minature spot welding experience

I am embarking on a project to help John Folsom in our quest to rebuild 15GP22 crt's.

We are going to be attempting to mount the electrostatic convergence cup, which will be salvaged from dead original 15GP22 guns, onto the front of a conventional 21fbp22 type gun.

I have already experimented with removal of the existing dynamic convergence elements on the front end of the 21fbp22 gun and it was very simple surgery.

The next step will be spot welding the 15GP22 convergence cup to the base plate which remains on 21fbp22 gun assembly after we have removed the dynamic convergence elements.

If anyone out there has any experience or hands on knowledge of minature spot welding equipment and techniques, I would be very interested in speaking with you. Just PM me with your contact information.

Thanks,
Bob G.

The spot welders used for electron gun manufacture are easy to use.
Maybe one of the defunct companies have a few of them lying around in the junk pile.
Most of them should be rusting away in Video Display's Georgia warehouse.
How about that dude reseller called Global ?
