7" National TV cabinet lettering
 

I am finishing the restoration of a 7" National television set. It is the metal table model version and because it apparently was in water for a long time the cabinet lower end was very rusted. i had to remove all the rust and paint so the lettering of the functions went away . The lettering was white on a gray cabinet . The cabinet has been refinished and the original lettering was stamped in the cabinet. Unfortunately the stamping depth is very lite and does not lend itself to be filled in easly. Any thoughts? My only thought would be to use dry tranfer labeling. The letters are about 0.100 " in height.

Dry transfer is certainly a feasible and economical solution. If you have a sign painter (becoming a lost art) you might see what he or she might be able to do. Keep us posted on your results.
