Motorola TS-275
 

Hello all my first post here. I just picked up this tv last night and was wanting to get a little bit of info.It is a portable and most everything is there but the antena needs some attention. I deffinately would like to get it up and running again. So any help for a rookie would be greatly appreciated. I will try to get pics later.

Just needs a little cleaning right now. When I got it there was a note attatched that said "it works but no picture" so how can that be. It does not work but heres a picture.

well, like with all TV sets of this age, you need to recap the ENTIRE set. from filters, to little paper caps.

then find out of tolerance resistors, and replace any weak or bad tubes.

after this, the set should work dandy unless the pic tube is bad, which from looking at it, its the same tube mine has, and its a clear bright picture.
