Pilot TV-37 High Voltage

There was a recent question about the HV supply in the TV-37 regarding the placement of the feedback clip on the 1B3. The HV in the set I've been restoriing works very well and the position of the clip is all the way down the glass and against the top of the tube base.
Note: the 1B3 is an 'old style' with a base that is slightly less than 7/8 inch high.

Yah, I was the one who asked about the placement of the 1B3 clip. I had gotten the TV-37 to the point where it had a decent (very dim) picture, but still too-low HV.

Then it seemed to lose HV completely, along with raster.

I just tried moving the clip down a few minutes ago. No difference. There are two 300mmf capacitors coupling to the CRT plates, which I didn't replace because they are micas. I need to order some other parts, too, so I'll replace those and see what happens.

I got a little Triad F-13X filament transformer that should fit neatly in back of the HV cage. Thanks for your info in another thread about the right resistors to use. Until I get the set working correctly, I'm just bringing it up on a variac and saving the transformer for later.
