Berns Air King wall radio / intercom
 

I picked up this Berns Air King wall radio/intercom for $2 at a flea market today. Looking at the front, you'd think it was tubes. Well, you'd be wrong. It's solid state; but, it looks like an early SS model. The chassis is metal with point to point wiring. Has anyone ever run into one of these units?

The information on the front says:
Berns Air King Corp.
Chicago 18, Ill.
Model 3258

I fired it up and the little red light comes on and that's it. I figure this was pulled from a house during renovation.
