Siemens radio
Hello everyone,
I've recently acquired a Siemens super M7 tube table radio. It has shortwave, longwave, and FM. It seems that it will only go up to about 103 in the FM band. There is a dial for FM on the back, and one on the front that can also be used for FM. Is there a way to get stations up to the 108 frequency? This is a very beautiful sounding radio nonetheless. These radios were built from around 1955 to 59. |
The European FM band did not go all the way up to 108.

Thanks for the info Reece.

If you could find a FM tuner from a American market model you could swap them out but the numbers on the dial would no longer match. Logan

Any photos? Would love to see your set. I have a German set that only goes up to there on the FM dial and just enjoy the stations I can tune in. Fortunately my favorites are all on the lower end of the dial. I know one guy who messed around with the alignment and can get stations above 102 but the dial scale is thrown off by this.

My only German set goes to 100, its a Schaub-Lorenz set. As mentioned, domestic market radios didn't go all the way up.
