Saw this under a table at a local flea. 1952ish Westinghouse H-334T7U AM/FM. Bakelite is perfect and it sounds great. Got it for 12 bucks.

Can't go wrong there! Finds like that for that price are rare these days.

I normally older radios but that one is really cool looking.

Great buy for 12 bucks.

Good luck with it.

Polish the bakelite w/a coat or 2 of carnauba wax, & she'll GLOW-an' be protected for another nearly 60 years !

I have one of these. They are nice radio's. The cool thing about these is the dial also glows when powered on. Its neat to listen to it with the lights turned low. To be one of the early tube FM radios, its quite stable without having AFC. The AM picks up well on these. Nice Find!

Nice!

That is nice!

My aunts had one. One of my aunts and my dad worked for Westinghouse in the transformer division. They were loyal to Westinghouse products.

Thank you very much for the link Jonboy. And thanks everyone for the compliments. This was actually my first vintage radio purchase. I was doing vintage stereo but I think it's time for a change. This one got me hooked. Sandy..I used Meguiar's PlastX polish on the cabinet. It's for clear plastics, but works good on just about any with a little care. It now shines like a baby's bottom.
