"This cabinet hosted the first color TV in the neighborhood in the 1950's. It is the real deal."

Hey, I've got the cabinet of a '66 Zenith console that housed the first color TV in the small community of Lawrence, MS. This set was owned by my late uncle, whom everyone in Lawrence knew. I'd sell it for the low price of $359. Seriously, this seller must be smoking crack! The only way that cabinet would be worth anything would be if someone had the proper chassis to go in it. Speaking of the chassis, that looks like an audio amp chassis mounted inside the cabinet.

Probably some junk tv from an estate sale and I bet the person who sold it to them said that's what it was. I emailed nicely telling them what it really was, I bet they say "that's not what I was told" or something to that extent. It may have housed the first black and white tv in the neighborhood but I doubt that too.

Another first. I have an empty cabinet for a Motorola 19CT1 (21" version) that I'm sure was part of the first color set in it's neighborhood (Donated guts and OEM 21AXP22 to ETF).

Definitely not color, and I'd say it's a 19" Sylvania.

I sent them a nice email explaining what they had. She was "fuzzy" on what she remembered as a kid and said she would check with her older brother. She said she would correct the listing if she was wrong. She corrected the listing but kept the price the same. Good luck there. And that is some kind of audio amp in there.
