Nice early 30s radio at Chicago estate.
In the eighth row of pictures there is a very nice looking radio, I don't recognize the brand.

Those speakers in the fifth row look pretty interesting, too.

I was #8 in line. They are Herald ? speakers. I thought perhaps they were Klipsch. That's why I was there an hour early. Don't know anything about Herald. Anyway, I missed some great LPs at another sale by going here first. Please don't tell me I screwed up by not getting these. Oh well.

Looks like maybe a Philco radio? The speakers look like Klipsch clones, or home made jobbies..
Guess no one caught the Marantz sitting on top of the speakers? |
OH.. or the real jewel.. looks like a single strange Thruster sitting next to the small TVs

The console radio is a Philco 90.

Just imagine sitting their listening to the radio ads and serials as well as the news. A lot of history in that thing.

The old upright radio is indeed a Philco 90 Lowboy - 1931 w/9 tubes. Someone locally sold one of those about month ago here which was in very nice cosmetic condition. Asking price was $100.00 when the ad disappeared.
