I'd like all three Zeniths although I have the top one. I just called about the porthole an hour ago, he wants 200. If someone will pick up the '58 with the speaker cloth on the left, I'd grab it from them in a week or so even though I have the same one. I think they want like 20 bucks.

Mark -

Sent an email to the seller of the Zenith you mentioned before scrolling down and seeing your post. It's in the next town over from me; asked if it was available to be seen. Didn't mean to step on your toes.

That's ok Jim, let us know how it goes. If you don't want it, let me know or grab it so I can grab it from you. Please, if you don't mind.

Will do. I'll probably give them a call tomorrow. $20 isn't bad either way, especially if it "works". I've got the same set as the bottom Zenith out in my garage - tubes light, sound, but no raster. Have to get going on that one of these days.

I'd jump on that $20 Zenith in a heartbeat if I were around Chicagoland.

Somebody did, apparently. :( Got an email back this morning that said it was already sold.

Wasn't me, I guess my cherry finished one won't have a maple buddy.
The bottom posting expired, I was going to see if it was negotiable. That's a pretty cabinet.

Are you sure? It seems to still be out there for $30 http://chicago.craigslist.org/sox/for/1275163848.html

There is something weird going on with that guy, gives weird answers. Sometimes it's sold, sometimes it's not. I think he's playing games, the price goes all over the map too. Too bad as I really wanted the set. I have the cherry one and these are some of the best Zenith B/W sets.
