There was some fool-ass sellin' a "Complete" collection of Mini-TVs" right next to it...Godfrey Daniel ! I got more in my "Junque" pile that that...Not only that, some other fool had bid $220 for that modest collection of "Ash 'n' Trash"...Oh, well...No accounting for taste, I spose...

The RCA looks like a CTC 7?

That's a long(!) way from New Orleans........
Too bad. Am going to look at an early Zenith square tube tomorrow. |
I think it's the CTC 7 metal tabletop called the Abington. Since it has the optional stand, it is definitely a set worth saving! Maine is too damn far from me!
There's NEVER anything around here....grrrr
Beautiful!!! Wrong side of the USA for me...
that's one of the sets on my list. crap.
what does the manual have written on it? 2-12-59? I assume thats the purchase date. This must be a 9 then. When were 9's introduced anyway? Wasnt it 1958/59?
wrong latitude for me :(

All the knobs on the side and no channel indicator on the front shouts 9! to me. :scratch2:
jr |
It's an early CTC7. The one with the two 5U4s sticking out of the power transformer.
Yep, The Abington. :)
