Those are some impressive shots, I hope my 4 looks remotely that nice after I get it running. Great set! What model is it? I have a '55 Director 21.

It's a Seville in mahogany. The cabinet is a little tired, but the chassis is in super shape, no rust, etc. It had all the mods when I got it and only required a re-cap, and chroma osc and phase alignment to correct hue problems. Mylar caps were already installed in the chrome section. All new replacements for can caps were put under the chassis with the originals still mounted on top. A bit tricky, as there isn't a lot of room under that chassis for large caps.
It was a fairly easy job, but I took my time over about 6 months, an hour here, two hours there. Sometimes marathon sessions LOL.
Thank all of you for your kind comments. It IS encouraging to read them!
Here's a few more pics.

I recognize a couple of them - could you identify the movies for all of us?

Glad to! The Erroll and Olivia pic, as well as the trumpets and bullseye are from Robin Hood 1937. It came with a disc about the history of Technicolor, and most of the shots are from that. The one with Cyd Charise dancing is from 'The Bandwagon' 1953. Great musical with Fred Astaire, Oscar Levant, Nanette Fabray, who did some early color work with RCA as a performer in experiments, and many other excellent stars from that era. lots of fun to put up Technicolor on an old TV. The cartoons are from Looney Toons Vol 1. Thanks for the comments!
