This is a really groovy looking cabinet. Says it's got a Fisher tube stereo in it. I wonder what kind of TV it has? I don't think I've seen a Fisher TV before... couldn't find one in the Sam's index either. I wonder what kind of set they would have matched up with the stereo? Too bad there wasn't a pic of the TV controls or with those doors opened up.

It strikes me that I've seen a Fisher combo with a Conrac Fleetwood TV chassis in it. It could also be that someone installed a TV set in a Fisher stereo cabinet where there was space, later on.

thats a good price for the Fisher alone..

Yes, I thought so as well. Those Fishers are very respectable units and have quite the reputation. I already have three giant "coffin-sized" combo units (two Curtis Mathes' and one Maggie). I don't really need another, but man that is a pretty cabinet!

I'm not sure which Fisher chassis that is, but it's probably (4) 6BQ5 outputs. Most of the factory-built cabinet stereo consoles had that lineup. Not quite as exciting as the 500 series, which had (4) 7591s. Great set though. I had one as a garage built-in that I saved from a beat-up Fisher console.
