Wow, your aunt had a lot of radios! Did she have all of them in here house as daily users, or were these things she picked up at yard sales/auctions over the years? I see some nice European shortwave radios, and that FADA looks to be the oldest of the bunch-I'd really like to know the model number for that one. Nice finds all around!

Betcha the Motorola is older. Fada looks like it's in a homemade cabinet.

A nice haul. I fixed up one of those RCA's for a friend (his had the bakelite cabinet) and it was a nice performer. You can have a lot of fun with this pile.

I dig the Grundig and Kaiser. Nothing like tubes with SW bands.

Looks like the FADA chassis came out of a model 605:

1946...so that Moto is probably older. Wouldn't be the first time I was totally wrong.

Wish you lived down here. I have a guy who refinishes furniture who is an absolute WIZARD at it, & could make those cases like new again...And he's reasonable, & doesn't take til next St Swithin's Day, either....

The Panasonic MPX looks like my first college radio. 1970 vintage

A little late on this thread but just wanted to add my recommendation for the RCA with the big brass airplane propeller dial. Very nice radios. Probably a 6-RF-9.

Yeah, I've got one of those. Pretty good radio.

Nice collection! Those German radios are good performers when restored. I like that Silvertone, too. I've always been partial to the department store stuff.
