How to prepare for the future?

While thinking about how to provide for my cats should I die before they do I wondered about what to do with my TV/Radio collection. I thought about willing them to the ETF, but realistically they probably would not like being deluged with sets from old farts passing away. There's also the danger I might live another 60 years and will they be around then? My mind won't be for much more than another 35.

My brother likes old electronics and would probably at least store them, but he's older than me. Other relatives could probably care less, except for an uncle who is approaching 100, as is my dad.

Not wanting to see them turned into aquariums or litter box condos, I'm not sure how to prepare for that eventuality.

In all seriousness, you won't be around, and you can't take 'em with you. I'd say will 'em to various relatives and let them worry about them.

I wonder about the same John. None of my relatives or close friends know or care anything about antiques :(
Hopefully, enough younger folks get interested in the hobby to take care of them.

Hehehehe...I might just have to have a MAMMOTH TV/Boatanchor Die-A-Thon like they had on the TV episode of "The Secret Life Of Machines"....Or a Media Burn like the Ant Farm did...'Cept I'd hafta use my '67 Lincoln Pervertable, since I ain't got no '59 Caddy...Wait..I DO have my grandad's '73 Fleetwood Broom, it'd make a nice, greasy KA-POW ! blastin' thru a pile of my Boatanchors 'n' TVs all stacked up....Still wanna make a Trebuche' someday, 'n' see how far it could sling an R-390A...My museum-grade '55 Collins would be a good uhh, "Victim"...Wonder if any Tooobs would fall out whilst it was a-whistlin' thru the air ?!? Mbwahahahaha...
