Pictures of that Philco 46-806 from Peru
6 Attachment(s)
Here's that Philco radio I got from Peru about ten years ago, and finally got around to restoring. Had to undo some hacks, and installed some hacks of my own :D (specifically a circuit substitute for the 115/230 ballast tube). And the old hacks of the 35L6 and 35Z5 tubes replacing their loctal brothers I left in.
The nameplate is a little hard to read, but according to http://www.philcoradio.com/gallery/1946a.htm#e I have a Philco 46-806. Closest match to what my label looks to say. |
Go over it w/Meguier's Body Scrub, & then a couple coats of Meguier's Carnauba Wax, & she'll look as good as/better than new...Bakelite oughta GLOW, rather than shine....
