Sentinel 400 tv modifications?

I've been working on a Sentinel 400/405 and I've bumped into a modification which doesn't show up on Rider's list of company mods. In the high voltage subchassis, there's a filter/dropping resistor (R-56 in Rider's and R-91 in Wallace's schematics and parts lists) which should be 47 ohms/ 1/2 watt but isn't! Rather my version has a 150 ohm in this spot. Considering that this is a tough place to get to, I'd rather get it right now than have to backtrack in the future. What do you think? Should I stick with this "unauthorized" mod or revert to the factory spec?

Opinions welcome.
