Transistor radio ID?
1 Attachment(s)
Hi.
I tried this on another transistor radio forum, with no results. Hope you guys are sharper or more knowledgeable here. Can any of you ID this radio? I sketched it from memory using a paint program and clippings of other radios. It's pretty accurate. I lost the radio 20 years ago. I owned it for 15 years before that, so I'm still pretty sure it looked like this: http://videokarma.org/attachment.php...1&d=1274761866 Any help would be greatly appreciated. A little more discussion here: http://www.antiqueradios.com/forums/...c.php?t=135801 Thanks. |
It's a Zenith :-)
Seriously, are you absolutely sure about the bandswitch being on the front? Other than that, it looks very much like a Royal 810. ebay item no. 330435751723 There are dozens of Zenith transistors on Ebay at any given time. If there's one still out there, I'm sure it will show up eventually, if you keep watching. |
Yes, bandswitch on the front. No, it's not an 810. I ruled out 810 and 51-1 on the other forum post (I didn't think I needed to repeat it here, just linked to it instead). I've been looking on eBay for years. No luck.
Just hoping someone recognizes it and will part with it if they do. |
