Hello all,

I just acquired a General Electric model 16C111 from CL. Would anybody out there happen to have the schematic for it?

I think that it is from 1950, but I am not entirely sure. My "Universal Schematic Locator" software came up empty. I found a stray reference on the internet that the schematic might be in Sam's #99A / Folder #6, but I cannot confirm.

I am enclosing photos from the listing; the missing knobs *MIGHT* turn up, but I'm not holding my breath waiting for that e-mail from the seller...

Thanks in advance for any help!

EDIT: D'OH!!!! Sorry guys--I obviously posted this in the wrong forum...sigh.

Here's a hi-res scan (huge) schematic from a Wallace Telaide: http://www.bobandersen.com/images/sc...0schematic.bmp

Thanks!!!

WOW!! Thanks, bandersen :thmbsp:!! This will be a tremendous help!

Were you ever able to try those brown glue sticks for capacitor restuffing?

What an age we live in--within AN HOUR of asking, an obscure schematic was located and uploaded to Videokarma...now, just imagine if I had actually posted this to the correct forum!! :D :scratch2:

I just happen to be gearing up to restore a couple GEs and had the Wallace right next to me :) If you need the Wallace capacitor reference or alignment instructions just let me know and I'll scan them too. For some reason Wallace leaves the values of electrolytics off their schematics.

I picked up a bunch of brown sticks but have not tried them yet. I've mainly been refinishing cabinets lately. I will soon I'm sure.
