Filters
 
Anybody else finding Glass Colour Correcting filters are going milky on Sony / Panasonic Cameras .How can these be fixed please ?:banana:

i am finding this on the ccd cameras which have a little filter behind the lense before the CCD, they either go milky, or get like mould looking stuff or delaminating between the layers of palstic/glass....

you can remove it but i find the focus is then never right, not much you can do other than find a replacement...trouble is since the cameras are old none of the manufactuers want to know you or have spares....so its usually means the end of the useful life of the camera...

such a shame when a cheap crap part dies and ruins an otherwise good piece of equipment!
