OK, Just as bad as fishtanking a TV!
I think this is really sad:
http://cgi.ebay.com/VINTAGE-PHILCO-T...item3a5cbfca4c Maybe the cabinet was bad...but maybe the cabinet could have been put back together somehow? We'll never know! This thing is really bizarre! Gilbert |
Yikes!
What a said piece of wreckage...... Bill Cahill |
...and no bass with the speaker mounted like that with no baffle behind it. And: "Sorry, ma'am, you don't need a radio tech, you need a plumber."
|
I dunno... Seem kinda funky to me. I like seeing the guts of a working radio like that. Polish everything up and you'd have quite a show piece.
|
Assuming the cabinet was a total loss, then I don't think it's so bad. I don't care for the oak trim though. It seems out of place with the rest of the color scheme.
Probably dangerous around kids. John |
That thing has been floating around for sometime now.
Somehow it reminds me of those wire figure people with the bladder control problem. ;) |
