"Could be gutted and used as a cabinet if so desired." Somebody needs to save this set!
Too far away for me I'm afraid :( http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-black-an...-/290458851514 |
It even has the origonal owners manual!
Why couldn't this be in Oregon :( |
"Kaybee" Halbert, huh? I'm not even going to ask where that came from. I'm not really all that fond of blondes ( other than my girlfriend ;)) but I would have bought one of these in a heartbeat if I'd seen it around here somewhere. Just check the capacitors, test a few resistors and tubes, and that thing would probably be ready to go.

I sure would like to have that! It's a "Hideaway" model with the 20" rectangular tube, and 253 chassis. That's way down near Houston, so I probably will have to pass on it.

Hmmm. 26 hours round-trip

Weird a K-H would show up in Texas! Most of those ended up on the West coast, hmmm? Someone must have moved.
