Definitely not Philco, but it looks vaguely, vaguely familiar. Stromberg Carlson?

ETA: Whatever it is, it was once part of a combo.

The knobs certainly look Philco-esque, but I certainly don't recognize it as a familiar Philco chassis.

Stromberg Carlson was into vertical chassis appendages, which this one has, although a little different that what I've seen from them. Some Emersons also have elevated controls, too, but I don't recognize this particular chassis.

The gear on the tuner looks unique.

Had to drop the tubes off in the driveway and hop back on the road to pick up this:

http://limaohio.craigslist.org/mcy/2059925102.html

but that's for an entirely different kind of forum (although Charles might appreciate). So I spent the rest of the day on the road and now it's dark out so further investigation will have to wait.

The TV has no apparent brand marks, anywhere. Almost all of the caps are labeled Micamold. The tuner has "Edwin I. Guthman and Company, inc", "Chicago Illinois" stamped on it. Other than that, it's a blank. I'll try to get a better look at it tomorrow.

I didn't photo the HV chassis but it's in the Craigslist shot. The HV anode is plain cloth-covered regular chassis wire, which is odd. I imagine we could name it "Sparky" for now, til someone figures out what it is.

The inner knobs certainly look like Philco, but not the outer. Hmm....

If anyone is interested, the seller had 3 more TV's that I left behind. I told him I'd let y'all know. An RCA XL100 color console, an RCA XL100 color portable, and a Zenith B/W portable. I'm sure he'd probably give them away just to get rid of them, but it would be neighborly if you tossed him a few bucks. Really nice guy. My truck bed was full with very fragile glass wrapped in blankets so I was out of room.

Sears or Andrea would be my votes.

Say, I recognize an old school LNA next to that RCA in the first pic...
