Info needed panasonic nv-vp31 dvd/vcr combo
 

HI ALL

You may all know about this particular item being notorious for throwing out a H07 error message on the DVD drive - it's to do with the disc motor. Has anyone here fixed one of these units by using a different motor other than the ones used by Panasonic?

The DVD deck has worked twice since I got this unit - big wow! But when it did, the picture quality was super. I since understand that lots of other Panasonic units have suffered the same fate.
