I love Antennatv, and Thistv, we get them both OTA from nyc. I have been regularly been watching Good Times, Maud and All in the Family, Sanford and son. Its just like prime time from the 70's all over again! ! ! and I love it. The thing I like the best, is that these channels are free of Toyota, Verizon, Ford, Honda, and every other over played commercial on the big networks. One additional thing I have been wondering is, what if these channels do a really good job and make a really good line up and the numbers look better on these channels than on the networks regular offerings? Not like thats hard to do.... Thistv, and Antennatv are now on our channel 11 which is. or was WB, with I think 3 vampire shows, 90210, some slutty cheerleader 90210ish thing, and a pretty good local news. Also they run the very cool Jerry Springer, and the Maury show. DNA was invented for Maury! ! Well also as a life long over the air viewer, never had cable or satellite, so I really really love the new sub channels! And from what I read Thistv has seen its viewer share increase to levels that the company is happy with! I think this viewer reception of its classic programing OTA is part of what helped launch Antennatv, and I hope to see more of this! ! ! ! Makes me feel better about my gigantic antenna and multiple booster amp array. OTA FOREVER ! ! OTA FOREVER ! ! OTA FOREVER ! ! OTA FOREVER ! ! OTA FOREVER ! ! OTA FOREVER ! ! OTA FOREVER ! ! OTA FOREVER ! ! OTA FOREVER ! ! OTA FOREVER ! ! OTA FOREVER ! ! OTA FOREVER ! ! OTA FOREVER ! ! OTA FOREVER ! ! OTA FOREVER ! ! Also in one of those things I read online about thistv viewership was a comment about CBS not splitting its channel up into subs. Some commented on them not owning enough content (I don't believe this) and others said they are waiting it out to launch something after a trend is identified. ABC here has something called Live Well Network which I assume is an abc cable channel, its pretty nice and my wife watches it a lot. You know we already get 2 to 3 times the number of channels as with the old analog lineup, OTA could possibly give cable a run for its money, and as designed, the sub channels may give local stations the ability to make additional money..... Our FOX channel for a while had a partnership with WWOR an independent channel that has local news, lots of syndicated shows.(about 3 months as soon as they turned off analog) They broke off the partnership which use to have FOX 5.1 and 5.2 use to be WWOR 4:3. WWOR 9.1 and fox5 on 9.2 4:3 mode. Now its FOX on 5.1HD and FOX5.2, 4:3 same arrangement for WWOR 9. I think they are confused about how to handle their sub channels, but look committed to having subs. Dam did I forget to break this up into paragraphs............
