I'm not sure what they all go on, but there's some nice lookin' knobs in there. Probably early 60's stuff, and people are starting to collect those.

I've been eyeing some knobs I need for that 14" RCA (the one in the thread here) in that lot.

I think those are mostly 50s tv knobs, I labeled the ones I know.

A Philco Predicta channel knob is one of the lot. Seems these are always sought after.

People may want certain knobs. I've been seeking a correct channel selector for my CTC-11 for a few years. (CTC-11s with different cabinets & trim used different knobs.)

If that batch had the right knob (it doesn't), I'd just pick out the one I need and turn around to unload the rest on eBay the next week. Not a bad deal, even if it cost me a few bucks in the end.

Phil, do you have a photo of the one you need? I go dizzy looking through piles of knobs (and I've got 'em.) I think there is at least one CTC-11 tuner knob in the pile.

Someone sent me these photos of what's supposedly the right knob. I believe it's missing a little trim circle from the middle.

I'm currently using this newer knob that someone else sold me.

Doesn't look awful, but as you can see it's not identical. I don't honestly know if the first one's correct. When I got the set it was in rough shape with an obviously wrong knob.

Phil,

The first picture matches what came on my CTC-11C. The second one is what I have on my CTC-10C. IIRC, the correct knobs are listed by cabinet (model number) style in the back of the SAMS Photofact. I think they were both being used during the same time period, dependant on cabinet style. The one you have is an excellent example. :)

You can't always be sure about the Predicta knobs, the Seventeener and others use a knob that looks the same but may be indexed wrong, or too short, or long.
