prewar set would be interesting, no color display featured this year. Interesting would be to see progress on crt rebuilding.

Cliff Benham will display a drum color receiver for NTSC. Also, the tube rebuilt by RACS last year will be operating, and Bob Galanter will have his helium leak detector on display.

Hello Steve,

If there are any possible pics to display exhibits like the drum set , that would be great. I really wish could make the convention, but time and budget don't allow. Hope to make it some year. Those pics of new 15" crt w/ great shot of Robin Hood I still remember a while ago.

old_tv_nut 04-22-2011 09:33 AM

I plan to take plenty of pictures, as usual.

Is there going to be streaming video this year?

Steve McVoy 04-22-2011 11:29 AM

Yes, there will be live internet coverage of the auction and presentations. Watch for a link on our home page Saturday.

Pictures of tv sets for auction also make people go to this show. Great deals if your a new collector or need parts sets.
