I have this exact model restored and I really enjoy watching it. It would be great to have another one but just too far away.

"Restore this t.v. to its former glory or make it a fishtank or converation piece!"

Ugh - I vote for restoration!

Or just take it home hide it in the garage and forget it for about 10 years. You won't be sorry.. I've only found one in Califonia in the last year. It's a treasure. I'm so attached to mine that I wouldn't part with it.

I was the sole bidder on this set and picked it up this evening

It's actually a G2439RZ "Monroe" not a "Warwick" as the seller had listed it.

I'll post more tomorrow after I get a chance to look it over in more detail.

Bandersen, that is a beautiful set - those Porthole TV's are real eye candy. And, from the way you have restored other sets, I think this TV is going to a very good home. Love to see more pictures of this TV and the ongoing restoration process.

Great! Glad to see you got it! If you ever run out of room let us all know! Was the other TV he had worth looking at?

Oh I ran out of space a few sets ago :sigh: It didn't help that I also picked up a set of those huge Riders TV service manuals!

The other set is in very good condition cosmetically. Sorry, I don't know if the CRT is any good. Also, the seller is a very nice guy who picked this stuff up at estate sales.

I'll start a new restoration set thread on this set soon.
