RCA Victor 28X find
 

Today I found a RCA Victor 28X in an antique mall locally, so it has been added to my Hallicrafters and Zenith Transoceanics in representing tube based shortwave receivers. It has a bit of finish checking and a few nicks here and there but it's otherwise complete and in pretty decent shape. I think it's a handsome tabletop set.

That is a nice find and in pretty good shape. It's in much, much better shape than its cousin that I found and restored, a 28T described here:

Thanks...that picture was before I cleaned it up a bit...and it looks a bit better now, despite the odd dings and scratches in it.
