I have one of those and 2 backup chassis. It has the crappy brown drop caps that all need to be changed. Basically it needs so many caps I had to put it on the back burner.
Its basically a ctc16 clone. |
Those are good sets, mine actually ran well on all original parts when I got it.
here is my Philco 15M91 it is the only one that was turned off(more than three sets on at once trips the breaker). http://i1095.photobucket.com/albums/...y/DSCN0429.jpg Tom C. |
My crt is new but has a horid cataract, yours and the one for sale looks great. I am reluctant to pull the lens off and risk destroying such a strong crt.
Appears to be a very common chassis, radiotvnut and I both picked ours up from the same shop we cleaned out. |
Mine does not have a bonded safety glass so all the glass needed was removal and a good cleaning.

I have one too, I think it's a pretty nice set. Mine also has a non-bonded 21FBP in it. My control panel looks a little different than all the ones I see here, but I do believe it's a '65 as well.

man, that's a pretty looking cabinet. Love the simple styling. Might need to find a reason to make room for it :scratch2:
|
Well someone take it. I'm outta room.
