Chassis Rust Prevention

Hi Guys:

I am working on several sets and have gotten rust the usual ways, like in using Naval Jelly.

Now in the prevention of rust coming back. Based on the severity, I've used in the past, Wd-40, clear paint, etc.

Well I recently bumped in to an article which sound really interesting (here: http://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedi...age-tube-radio ). They talk about using; "corrosion protector T9 ( Great staff developed by the Boeing Co.)"

I looked into this. The product is here: http://boeshield.com/ It looks really great! It is, unlike WD-40, non-conductive. It is also paraffin based.

What I would like to know from you Guys is if YOU have used it and what do you think? Long term experience without rust returning? etc.

Thanks for listening!

In the Navy, we use stuff that's sort of like WD-40 except it's for use around electronics. For details, see the corrosion bible: NAVAIR 01-1A-509-2
