Philco 15M91 bezel removal

Has anyone here tried to remove the bezel and safety glass from the front of a Philco 15M91 set without disturbing the CRT, a la a ctc-5? Since this has a 21FBP22 tube, I'd like to be able to clean the face of the tube and the backside of the non-bonded safety glass in the simplest way possible. Any ideas or factual knowledge?

That set is actually a CTC15 clone. In most of those models, the CRT is mounted to that bezel. The CRT itself, has to be removed to clean the safety glass. It's better than having to deal with a cataract.

The bright side

The best part is you only have to clean it every 40 years or so...
