Pair of CT-100's and a pair of Moto 21CT2's for sale

That's right, a pair of each!

Both CT-100's have bad CRTs, the Motos don't say.

I know him... Interesting story about those sets.. He used to live in LA, and nearly lost those sets in the '94 Northridge Earthquake. I remember seeing his condo building lying in ruins on TV, and later I found out that Tom was holed up inside, keeping an eye on his TVs, and refused to evacuate (as ordered by the LA Sheriff and the Building & Safety Dept). I'm shocked he's selling them! I haven't talked with him in years since he moved to CO, so a good chance to catch up. I personally saw one of those working, and the tube wasn't bad at that time. I'm not going after the CT-100s; just in case anyone is wondering...

Made an offer on the Moto's. I already have 2 ct100 with good tubes so I will leave the RCA's for some other collector. But they look like nice original sets.

UPDATE:
2 Moto's are comming to Milwaukee to live at Bob's house. Steve McVoy will be bringing them to Hilliard and I will pick them up at convention, when I deliver the rest of the Hawkeye equipment that I have been storing, during ETF convention.

Se ya all at convention. Be there or be square.

Good news, Bob! I can't wait to see your latest projects, good thing they won't be total rehabs like your latest endeavor. You need an easy one for a change, I just hope the 21AXP22's are good.

 I acquired one of the CT-100's. It was originally owned by KYW in Cleveland. It's on the road now with Steve on the way to ETF so I can pick it up at the convention.

The other one was owned by Hickok for developing test equipment. Steve Mcvoy tested the 15GP22 in that one and says that it's good! Mine is gassy and will need to take a vacation in France.

Wow, that's great! Wonder why the CRT was advertized as being bad?

Both sets quit working in 1976. He assumed that both were gassy after the first one became gassy. One can be forgiven if they don't remember something correctly that happened 36 years ago.

I was amazed about how much he knows of the history of each set.

John,

Glad you got one of the two. Michigan has at least five CT-100's now!

One more than Wisconsin ;-)

Pete

I tested the CRT in the older CT-100 today - .9 on the red and green guns, .8 on the blue on a Beltron. Bob and John's sets are on their way to Ohio now.

YES! And that means that Wisconsin also has the ONLY working prototype tri color tube in existance.

If memory serves me right, those Motorolas have a very unique color circuit. They also have a hugh power supply! I had one in high school and until the 21AX went bad, ran the daylights out of it! It was replaced with a Zenith 26KC20.

Ah, political intrigue: Wisconson vs. Michigan vs. Indiana

Remember, the guy who counts the votes determines the winner.
