From the Buffalo Evening News, 27 November 1963, ad fir RCA Color TV from Electra Gas -New 1964 Mark 9 Radnor table model, only $3.75/week, and free lifetime service included!

I thought this might be the same model in my avatar (from the New York World's Fair in June 1965), but it's different. Does anyone know if the one in my avatar is a 1965 model, or is it an earlier model?

I love the RCA ad blurb. Especially the "Space Age Sealed Circuitry".

If I can respectfully comment here, the RCA in your avatar likely uses a CTC16X (or maybe CTC20, the last RCA roundie from 1966-7)
It looks like a model GG643 (CTC16X) I used to have, which was a late 1965 set. I LOVED that set and watched SNL on it every weekend for 2 years. Then the rebuilt CRT's neck dropped off (channel master)

The RCAs in the ad were technically 1964 models using CTC15, introduced in late 1963.

I later got a CTC16E, GF601 which had a different control configuration using two separate V and U tuning knobs, with color and tint knobs below the speaker. These were earlier 1965. Not sure if this is 100% way to determine 16 vs 16X....:scratch2:
