The radio is a great-looking 1929 highboy:drool:I don't have it, just this.
What does the cone for this look like?

I had one of those sets many moons ago but without the cabinet. The speaker looked just like this.. http://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedi...late-20s-early
The cone was paper and very stiff compliance, yet it put out terrific volume but shy on bass, so it probably would have had stronger bass in the cabinet.
BTW, all the rubber insulation in that power supply cable was rotted, and that was in the '50s.

I have a 1929 majestic and all the wire from the power supply and to the speaker were rotten. I made a new power supply harness but not the speaker harness yet. I still need 2 good 45's to finish the radio. pricey tubes!

Thanks guys, if it has continuity that will probably go along to the Renninger's swap meet we have up here in May.

Thanks! That helps alot. I just need to see if coil (169) is good yet.

The model G-2 speaker field coil resistance is around 2,730 ohms.
