Pye got taken over by Philips in the mid-late 1970's having joined up with Ekco around 1964.
As a manufacturer Pye went right back to the very early days of radio in the 1920's. Have you got any more pictures of that TV? The inside view might give a clue as to its origin,looks mid-late 1950's to me and by that time their styling for UK models had settled down to a more conventional look. Hugh |
Didn't realize it had Nth American tuner/channels
