Motorola SS Stereo/Color TV console pics

Looking for history and value. This is in Tennessee and I know nothing about electronics. Everything works on this unit and when I took the back off of it, the tv has tubes and is color. The needle is still in place on the record player and the attachment for 45's is also present. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Without a model number AND photos, it is next to impossible to answer any of your questions. Post some photos so we can see what you actually have. It will be older than 1975 as that's when Motorola got out of consumer electronics.

WAG on year would be 1970-ish.

This is what we lovingly call an "aircraft carrier" because of the amount of room they take up. This is also it's greatest drawback.

There are a few people who collect these animals but they are few and far between. And even they can't handle more than a very few unless they have serious hoarding issues.......:D Value could be anywhere from free to $50 to the right person. My opinion, others may differ. If the cabinet was perfect or near perfect, it would be more desirable although you may be able to touch it up. It was a high end set in it's day.

my combo aircraft carries were bought for:

Free (b&w magnavox)
Free (color roundie magnavox)
25$ (color roundie RCA)
15$ (color zenith rectangle)
50$ (color zenith rectangle #2)
15$ (RCA CTC-17 rectangle)
Free (sylvania color superset)
15$ (b&w magnavox #2)

I prob could have got some for less but I wanted to help them out. Not like anyone else was going to buy them.

A lot of people call them aircraft carriers, but I always heard them called "coffins."
