1948 zenith georgian am fm phono
 

hey all i have this really nice zenith that i restored and works perfect and the phono as well. the phono only plays 78 records but it can play 45 or 33 records if a variable resistor like a light dimmer is placed on the turn table motor. everything is kept original except a few new caps and the cloth on the speaker front. the record changer part works as well. i am looking for a good home for it as i am up to my neck in tvs here. im not sure what its worth but i would like at least to get what i put into it and alittle time as well. so if there are anyone that may be interested and maybe in my area let me know. this radio has the armstrong system in it which i think this is all they had back then to do with the first fm radio.

Did you change out the cartridge?

are you talking about the phono needle? if so no i did not its in great shape and i have an old 78 record that came with this radio and it plays it fine. probably original.
