Philips K9 chassis with sensor and delta crt, horizontal problem.
Hello, I have a problem on a Philips K9 chassis with sensor and delta crt of first '70s.
After some time that the tv is turn on, picture start to move in the angles and left and right side of crt, I have found that if I put ice spray in the zone with AD162 and BC148 transistor the problem disappear, I had already change AD162 without results, anyone have had the same problem? Thanks a lot! Bye MrOldtuberadio |
Dear Mr oldtube.
I'm not quite sure what the problem is that you are having. It sounds like the fault you are trying to describe is a distortion of the picture at the sides. On this model I have seen the sides of the picture constrict and even move like a Hula dancer. I would again replace the AD162 Germanium transistor with another, from a different source. Another clue is that the action of the E/W controls do not operate properly. In which country do you live? Are the ventilation holes in the cage of the power supply square or round? Also check C420, S422, and R422. S422 usually kills R422 and the ASD162 transistor. Best wishes Wayne |
Hello, thanks a lot for your suggest, I have replace AD162 and last time that I had use it some months ago work properly.
