finally scored my first porthole!
 

hey guys,
So after much searching, a porthole turned up right in my neck of the woods, and I was able to pick it up today. pictures will follow later this evening, but it is the one posted under curbside for 50 bucks on new haven CL. it is a 1950 "lincoln" model, 16 inch screen. cabinet is in good shape for age, still has all knobs and original back. uses the 16EP4A, which I really hope still has life, as I would love to have it restored. its a great looking set, and hopefully It will be brought back to life!

Congratulations on the find and at a great price. I currently have 3 and my girlfriend says no more well, maybe one more. Looking forward to seeing a couple pics of the unit.
